Legacy of the Void Balance Update -- May 23, 2016

Since our previous patch to Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void, we’ve been testing various balance changes with the help of the community. After gathering and reviewing your feedback from our most recent Balance Test Map that explored these changes, we are ready to move forward with the next balance update for Legacy of the Void. You can expect to see the following adjustments applied to Legacy of the Void multiplayer today.


Balance Changes

Terran

  • Thor
    • Adding a second anti-air attack 'mode' which can be toggled on/off:
      • Attack deals 35 (+15 armored) damage every 2.14 seconds (on faster game speed)
  • Cyclone
    • Cost reduced from 150/150 to 150/100
    • Supply cost increased from 3 to 4
  • Liberator
    • Anti-air damage changed from 7 to 5 (+2 light)

Protoss

  • Colossus
    • +10% to Attack Speed (This includes a 10% increase to the ground sweep as well)
  • Immortal
    • Barrier absorb reduced from 200 damage to 100 damage

Zerg

  • Swarm Host
    • Cost reduced from 200/100 to 150/75

Map Changes

Frozen Temple

  • Removed Watchtowers
