Gear Up and Get in Early on the Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 PC Beta

The Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 PC Open Beta is on the horizon, and today’s your chance to gear up to be among the first to experience multiplayer mode in the PC version. If you haven’t already, you can pre-purchase the game right now through the Blizzard Shop.  You can also now preload the game so you can jump into the action as soon as the PC Beta is live on Blizzard Battle.net® - preloading the beta doesn’t require pre-purchase.

Players who pre-purchase Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for PC get a full day of Early Access to the PC Beta beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT on August 10*. The PC Open Beta, which is available to anyone with a Battle.net account, begins at 10:00 a.m. PT on August 11.

Beta Testing Privileges

All participants in the PC Beta will receive a unique Call of Duty calling card they can display in the game. Players who achieve max rank in the beta will earn a Permanent Unlock Token to apply to any piece of Create-a-Class content when Black Ops 4 comes out.

The beta is also a chance to play side by side with developers of the game and help make Black Ops 4 better. The developers  at Treyarch and Beenox will be jumping in to play matches and interact with players throughout the beta. Once the beta ends, participating players will get a survey that encourages honest and candid feedback.

Maps, Modes and Specs

For the Black Ops 4 multiplayer PC Beta, players will battle over six distinct maps—four already seen at  previous events, plus two new ones, Gridlock and Hacienda. Players will also get to try a mix of new and returning Specialists and new game play mechanics.

The multiplayer PC beta will include favorite modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Search & Destroy, alongside the new objective-based game mode, Control. For more information on Black Ops 4 and the content available in the beta head to www.callofduty.com.
