Here you'll find a list of hotfixes that address various issues related to World of Warcraft: Legion. Some of the hotfixes below take effect the moment they were implemented, while others may require scheduled realm restarts to go into effect. Please keep in mind that some issues cannot be addressed without a client-side patch update. This list will be updated as additional hotfixes are applied.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Siege of Orgrimmar
    • Paragons of the Klaxxi and Siegecrafter Blackfuse are much better hosts and no longer lock their doors if you leave the raid early.

      • 4-piece bonus now deals 210% weapon damage per tick (was 420%).

      • 2-piece bonus now deals 35% of direct damage (was 25%) from Death Coil over 4 seconds.

      • 4-piece bonus now increases haste by 15% (was 40%) for 8 seconds.

      • 4-piece bonus now increases the damage of Moonfire and Sunfire by 20% (was 10%) for 6 seconds.
  • Hunter: Serpentstalker Guise
    • Beast Mastery
      • 4-piece bonus now reduces the cooldown of Aspect of the Wild by 1.5 seconds (was 2.0 seconds).
    • Survival
      • 2-piece bonus now increases the critical strike damage of your next Raptor Strike by 100% (was 50%) within the next 20 seconds.
  • Mage: Runebound Regalia
    • Arcane
      • 2-piece bonus now increases your damage by 2% (was 4%) for 8 seconds per Arcane Charge spent.
      • 4-piece bonus now has a 10% chance (was 8%) to increase your haste by 15% (was 20%) for 6 seconds.
    • Fire
      • 4-piece bonus now increases your critical strike damage by 10% (was 12%) while Combustion is active.
    • Frost
      • 2-piece bonus now increases the damage of Flurry by 15% (was 25%) for each successive ice bolt.
      • 4-piece bonus now increases the damage of your next Ice Lance by 20% (was 25%).
  • Monk: Chi’Ji’s Battlegear
    • Brewmaster
      • 4-piece bonus now reads, “Every time you dodge an attack, the remaining cooldown of Breath of Fire is reduced by 1.0 sec.”
    • Windwalker
      • The 4-piece bonus is now the 2-piece bonus, and still has a 10% chance to generate 1 Chi when you consume Blackout Kick!
      • The 2-piece bonus is now the 4-piece bonus, and now it increases the damage of your next Blackout Kick by 175% (was 150%).
  • Paladin: Light’s Vanguard Battleplate
    • Retribution
      • 2-piece bonus now increases the damage of Judgment by 40% (was 60%).
  • Priest: Gilded Seraph’s Raiment
    • Shadow
      • 4-piece bonus now increases the critical strike chance of Mind Flay, Void Bolt, and Mind Blast by 0.5% (was 1%) per stack of Void Form.
  • Rogue: Regalia of the Dashing Scoundrel
    • Assassination
      • 2-piece bonus now increases the critical strike chance of Deadly Poison and Wound Poison by 60% (was 15%) for 6 seconds.
      • 4-piece bonus now has a chance to grant 2 Energy (was 4 Energy) when your Deadly Poison or Wound Poison critically strikes.
    • Outlaw
      • 2-piece bonus now increases the damage of your next Run Through by 15% (was 5%), stacking up to four times.
      • 4-piece bonus now has a 16% chance (was 12%) to grant you a random Roll the Bones effect, that is not already active, for 10 seconds.
    • Subtlety
      • 4-piece bonus now has a 3% chance (was 5%) to grant Shadow Gestures when using Gloomblade, Backstab, and Shadowstrike.
  • Shaman: Garb of Venerated Spirits
    • Enhancement
      • 2-piece bonus now has a 30% chance (was 15%) to increase the damage of your next Rockbiter by 100%.
      • 4-piece bonus now causes the target to take 15% (was 10%) increased Fire and Nature damage from your attacks for 4.50 seconds after using Rockbiter.
  • Warlock: Grim Inquisitor’s Regalia
    • Affliction
      • 4-piece bonus now increases Corruption, Siphon Life, and Agony damage by 10% for 8 seconds (was 6 seconds).
    • Destruction
      • 2-piece bonus now increases the critical strike chance of Incinerate by 40% (was 20%).
  • Warrior: Juggernaut Battlegear
    • Arms
      • 2-piece bonus now increases your critical strike damage by 7% (was 10%) after using Colossus Smash.
      • 4-piece bonus now increases the damage and critical strike chance of your next Whirlwind or Slam by 12% (was 15%), stacking up to three times.
    • Fury
      • 2-piece bonus now causes the target to bleed for an additional 18% (was 30%) of the direct damage dealt by Rampage, over 4 seconds.
      • 4-piece bonus now increases the damage of your Rampage by 25% (was 75%) for 8 seconds.

Events

  • WoW’s 13th Anniversary
    • Anniversary boss bonus rolls now reward Artifact Power instead of gold if you do not receive an item.

Items

  • Players can now use the following toys in dungeons: Sandbox Tiger, Darkmoon Seesaw, Love Boat, and Fishing Chair.

Player vs Player

  • All non-tank specs now receive 40% less damage from players in World PvP.
  • Draught of Souls’s Fel-Crazed Rage damage reduced by 70% against players.
  • Kil’jaeden’s Burning Wish damage reduced by 60% against players.
  • Druid
    • Fiery Red Maimers increases Maim damage by 165% against players (was 500%).
    • Feral
      • The Entangling Roots version of Earthen Grasp is now properly affected by Hardened Roots.
  • Death Knight
    • Cold Heart damage reduced by 75% against players.
  • Paladin
    • Protection
      • Pillars of Inmost Light increases Eye of Tyr damage by 150% against players (was 300%).
    • Retribution
      • Scarlet Inquisitor’s Expurgation increases Divine Storm damage by 3% per stack against players (was 6% per stack).
  • Priest
    • Discipline
      • Dark Archangel's visual spell effect is now visible for all targets affected.
  • Rogue
    • Insignia of Ravenholdt damage reduced by 50% against players.
    • The Dreadlord’s Deceit increases Fan of Knives and Shuriken Storm damage by 6% per stack against players (was 25% per stack).

    • Holy
      • Prayer of Healing can now correctly heal designated non-player targets.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Tempest Keep: The Arcatraz
    • Level 110 enemies should no longer appear in the level 70 version of Tempest Keep: The Arcatraz.
  • Throne of Thunder
    • Council of Elders again drops loot when defeated.

Items

  • Relinquished Armor Sets no longer stack, and can now be refunded for Nethershards within the refund period.

Reputation

  • Fixed a bug where players below level 110 could earn paragon reputation rewards. This was not intended.
  • Fixed a bug where players who were not eligible for paragon reputations could still use reputation token items, not receive the reputation, and lose the item. These items will now prevent the player from using them until the player is eligible.

  • The mission "Another Rat Problem" should again be available, and awards pet supplies with a bonus pet supplies reward.

    • Watchful Inquisitor's Searing Glare should be more reliably interrupted by stuns and interrupts.
  • Dragon Soul
    • Fixed a bug that was causing NPCs to disappear in some circumstances.
  • Tomb of Sargeras
    • Fallen Avatar
      • Tainted Essence healing absorb has been reduced to 8% (was 10%).
      • Tainted Essence now cancels upon death.
    • Kil’jaeden
      • Armageddon Hail is now spawned only once in Mythic difficulty.

Items

  • The Unstable Portal Emitter should now function again … with predictably unpredictable results.

Argus

  • Fixed an issue where Khazaduum could not be slain in Krokuun while the world quest "Holding the Spire" was active.
  • Fixed a bug preventing Invasion Point: Cen’gar from properly appearing on the map.

      • Damage of all abilities increased by 15%.
      • Vestments of Enveloped Dissonance 2-piece bonus now reduces the cooldown of Rising Sun Kick by 1 second (was 2 seconds).
      • Xuen's Battlegear 4-piece bonus now increases critical strike chance of Rising Sun Kick by 30% when Fists of Fury ends (was 65%).
        • Developers’ notes: These changes, along with adjustments to the same set bonuses that were made in patch 7.3.2, should put the combination of 2- and 4-piece sets in line with our plans for the power of those tiers, and allow us to make the forthcoming Antorus tier competitive and valuable for Monk damage dealers. The spec-wide damage increase is intended to keep all of these adjustments from reducing overall damage output, and we’ve counteracted the changes in PvP with intent to be neutral.

    • Resolved an issue that could cause "Captain" Cookie's Throw Food from throwing food as intended.
  • The Nighthold
    • Fixed a bug causing the Living Infernal Core to sometimes drop in Raid Finder difficulty.

      • Arcing Void damage reduced by 20% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Collapse cast time increased to 5 seconds in Heroic and Mythic difficulties (was 4 seconds).
      • Consume Essence damage reduced by 20% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Dark Withering damage reduced by 33% and damage taken debuff lowered to 10% per stack (was 20%) in Mythic difficulty.
      • Negating Brand damage reduced by 25% in Heroic and Mythic difficulties.
      • Unstable Dark Matter base health reduced 20% in all difficulties.
    • Zuraal the Ascended
      • Decimate damage reduced 40% in Mythic difficulty.
    • Saprish
      • Void Trap stun duration reduced to 4 seconds (was 5 seconds) and can be dispelled.
      • Dread Screech cast time increased to 3 seconds (was 2.5 seconds).
    • Viceroy Nezhar
      • The number of summoned Umbral Tentacles reduced to 3 with each summoning (was 4).
      • Void Lashing cast time increased to 2.5 seconds (was 2 seconds) and duration reduced to 5 seconds (was 6 seconds) in all difficulties.
      • Void Lashing healing reduction reduced to 2.5% (was 5%) per stack, max stacks increased to 40 (was 20), and duration reduced to 8 seconds (was 15 seconds) in Mythic difficulty.
    • L'ura
      • Naaru's Lament damage reduced by 20% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Umbral Cadence damage reduced by 15% in all difficulties.

Player vs Player

  • The Fierce Combatant achievement is once again visible in the Player vs Player achievement category.
  • Recurrent Arena and Rated Battleground titles such as Duelist and Gladiator are now correctly available to players who earned their respective achievements in Season 4.
  • Temple of Kotmogu
    • Orbs of Power can no longer be dropped by summoning a mount.

Quests

  • "Supplying the Antoran Campaign", and similar quests, can now be turned in to Turalyon on any instance of the Vindicaar.

Toys

  • The Horse Tail Costume now comes with a tail, as advertised.

  • Your item level is now set to 935 while participating in Tournament Rules wargames (was iLvl 900).

      • Focused Dreadflame damage reduced to 12 million in Mythic difficulty.

Items

  • Corrected an issue causing Feverish Carapace, Recompiled Guardian Module, and Shifting Cosmic Sliver’s effects to trigger far less frequently than intended for Brewmaster Monks.

  • Fixed an issue where bonus rolls would fail to occur when defeating some Greater Invasion Point bosses.
  • Fixed an issue on Mac'Aree where players were being sent to graveyards incorrect graveyards.

    • Fixed an issue preventing players from getting loot when killing Grand Magistrix Elisande.

Player versus Player

  • Death Knight
    • Chains of Ice now reduces the target's movement speed by 50% for Unholy and Frost Death Knights in PvP situations (was 70%).
  • Monk
    • Windwalker
      • Storm, Earth, and Fire spirits will now gain Tigereye Brew.
      • Tigereye Brew now reduces your damage dealt by 25% (was 20%).

Hotfixes

Class Halls

  • Players no longer need to complete “The Seat of the Triumvirate” in the Argus storyline to unlock “The Ruins of Oronaar”, which allows further follower and mission progression.
  • Follower equipment that improves item level is more likely to appear from Argus missions, once “The Ruins of Oronaar” has been completed.
  • The final tier of Argus missions are now less difficult, reward more Veiled Argunite, and reward more bonus Gold.

  • Resolved an issue where some players could have the Army of the Light emissary complete but were unable to see Vindicator Jaelaana and turn it in.

  • Zenk'aram, Iridi's Anadem now correctly increases Shadow damage in Voidform.

  • Dark Sorrows damage increased by 40%.

    • Shred now deals an additional 25% damage while stealthed in PvP situations (was 50%).

      • Enraged Maim now costs 5 Combo Points.
      • Enraged Maim incapacitates the target for 5 seconds (was 6 seconds).
      • Enraged Maim now has a 10 second cooldown (was 6 seconds).
      • The damage of the Lunar Inspiration version of Moonfire is reduced by 20% in PvP situations.
      • Ferocious Wound reduces the maximum health of the target by 15% (was 25%).

    • Imprison's duration on players is now 3 seconds (was 4 seconds).
    • Detainment increases Imprison's cooldown to 45 seconds, up from 30 seconds.

      • PvP Template Versatility increased by 5%
      • PvP Template Armor increased by 10%
      • Mana Regeneration increased by 5% in PvP situations.
      • Life Cocoon's absorb is increased by 10% in PvP situations.

    • Fel Lasher drop rate increased. It can now also drop from Astral Glory on Argus.

Quests

  • The Tomes of Torment are no longer difficult to see during the quest "Lessons of Fire and Pain".
  • Abandoning "Talgath's Forces" or "Flanking Maneuvers" after completing one quest should no longer prevent you from re-acquiring the other.

      • Fixed a bug causing Lava Burst and Lava Burst: Overload to deal less damage than intended in PvP situations.

      • Spirit Link (Honor Talent) can no longer be applied to targets under level 100.

  • Technique: Glyph of Fel-Touched Shards should be usable again to learn how to make the glyph.

Quests

  • The "All In" scenario in Suramar should no longer become stuck at 96% progress.

  • Toraan has been reminded of his allegiances and now provides an Argussian Reach faction discount.
  • Fixed a bug preventing some of the Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon World Quests from counting toward the appropriate Emissary.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Seat of the Triumverate
    • Shadow Pounce cast by Shadow Stalker panthara should no longer destroy Sealed Void Caches for the Let it All Out achievement.
    • Zuraal the Ascended
      • Dark Aberrations should cast Release Void Energy if disoriented.
    • Viceroy Nezhar
      • Fixed a bug where Viceroy Nezhar could cast Howling Dark while under the effects of Dark Bulwark, making it impossible to interrupt.
      • Fixed a bug where Viceroy Nezhar sometimes did not begin the fight by gaining energy.
  • Tomb of Sargeras
    • Mistress Sassz’ine
      • The blood visual for Dread Sharks has been improved on Mythic difficulty.
      • Burden of Pain now counts damage after absorbs such as Stagger, Blood Shield, or Power Word: Shield on all difficulties.

Player versus Player

    • Mistweaver
      • The Ancient Mistweaver Arts version of Soothing Mist will no longer incorrectly cancel when recasting on a new target.

Quests

  • Fixed a bug preventing Peacebloom vs. Ghouls from being playable for Brazie the Botanist’s quests.

  • Soultender Videx is no longer required for the Commander of Argus achievement.
  • [With restarts in each region] Argus Waystones no longer drop from bosses in Invasion Points. Any Argus Waystones in your possession have been converted to Veiled Argunite.
  • [With restarts in each region] The quests Invasion Point Offensive and Invasion Onslaught no longer require Argus Waystones.
  • [With restarts in each region] The Argussian Reach emissary again requires 4 World Quests completed.

  • Developers’ notes: All of the damage increases below are a combination of buffing specs that don't benefit from the Netherlight Crucible's item level increase as much as other specs, as well as tuning the specs relative to each other.

    • Fixed a bug preventing Inquisitor Tormentorum’s associates from automatically engaging players.

Tomb of Sargeras

  • Demonic Inquisition
    • The number of Echoing Anguish debuffs has been reduced to 2 (was 3) on Raid Finder, Normal, and Heroic difficulties.
  • Kil’jaeden
    • Reduced the health of Kil’jaeden, Erupting Reflection, and Shadowsoul by 5% on all difficulties.
    • The maximum distance from the center of the platform that Armageddon can spawn has been reduced on all difficulties.
    • The radius of the explosion from Bursting Dreadflame has been reduced on all difficulties.
    • Chaotic Eruption damage and knockup has been reduced on Mythic difficulty.

Player versus Player

  • All specs that received general damage increases above have been reduced by an equivalent amount in PvP, as the Netherlight Crucible’s item-level increases to the player’s Artifact weapon have very little impact on PvP.

Argus

  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to teleport to the nearest flight point in Antoran Wastes even if it was inactive.

The Broken Shore

  • The Deliverance Point building accumulation rate has been increased for all regions. The intended result is for buildings to complete at approximately the same rate as they did before 7.3.

  • Shaman
    • Restoration and Elemental Shaman’s Chain Lightning spells should now use a consistent casting animation.

Dungeons and Raids

  • The Deadmines
    • Defeating Glubtok should correctly award loot.
  • Razorfen Kraul
    • Players should find it easier to find the items and complete “Going Going Guano”
  • The Temple of Atal’hakkar
    • Defeating Shade of Hakkar in Sunken Temple should correctly award loot.
  • Wailing Caverns
    • Players should find it easier to find the items and complete “Deviate Hides”.

  • Fel Lava on Argus will no longer damage pets.
  • The number of World Quests required to complete the Argussian Reach Emissary is reduced to 3 (was 4) until next week, when more Argussian Reach World Quests will become available.

  • [Hotfix in testing] Fixed a bug preventing Starsurge from having visual or sound effects.

  • [Hotfix in testing] Fixed a bug that made Void Eruption’s Vampiric Touch missile display incorrectly.

  • Elemental Overloads should correctly hit if the target is behind the caster.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Humanoid mobs in low level dungeons should drop gold once again.

Pet Battles

  • Fixed a bug in which Gloamwing and Snozz counted for each other toward the Aquatic Assault achievement.

Quests

  • The objective requirement for the "Core Mechanics" World Quest has been reduced to 8 Crystalline Construct Cores (was 20).

Hotfixes

Argus

  • A treasure hidden off the edge of the Antoran Wastes has now been moved on to the island.
  • The Paraxis now fires at player locations, allowing players to avoid the damage from the effect.

  • Players who are removed from the Lightforged Warframe during the quest "Lord of the Spire" will no longer be prematurely teleported back to Destiny Point.
  • Hadrox and Radix should now have an appropriate amount of health when engaged for “Slumbering Behemoths”.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented one Night Elf Male hairstyle from appearing.
  • Artifact weapons with a challenge artifact appearance selected should no longer revert to their base appearance if the player is logged out while in a different specialization.

  • Gul'dan should once again drop his eye in Normal and Heroic difficulties for "The Nighthold: Darkness Calls".
