Echoes of Alterac: Call to Arms Streamer Event

With the Echoes of Alterac ringing through the Nexus, battle lines have been drawn and warriors have chosen their sides. To celebrate the event, 10 of your favorite Heroes of the Storm streamers have answered the Call to Arms and pledged their loyalty to the Alliance or Horde. From June 19 through June 24, they'll be streaming for their faction, completing challenges and earning points along the way. At the end of the first week of competition, the winning team will be given Heroes bundle codes to raffle off to their viewers!

But the battle doesn't end there. On June 27, we'll be holding a best-of-five tournament between both factions’ teams, with the legendary Derek "DunkTrain" Arabian and Kurt "Kaeyoh" Ocher sharing casting duties during the main event!

The Challenges

Players from each faction will battle it out for points during their streams when Call to Arms kicks off.

How does the points system work, you ask? Call to Arms features a variety of challenges, which range from "Get MVP 3 Times" to "Win 3 Games in a Row." Each faction can only earn points for completing an individual challenge once, so you can bet your favorite streamers will be hustling to get them done during their timeslots. At the end of the first week, the faction with the most points wins. In order to guarantee the most even playing field possible for each player, these challenges must be completed in Hero League.

Here is the complete list of challenges and how many points they are worth:

  • Earn MVP 3 Times (Win Or Lose) - 5 Points
  • Become "Hero of the Storm" (20 Takedown Streak) In 2 Games - 5 Points
  • Get A Triple Kill (Must be your last hits in the event feed) - 5 Points
