Ready for another round of Heroes of the Storm college esports action? Heroes of the Dorm is returning once again for more prizes, more rivalries, and more intense action in the Nexus, with Cheerleader Kerrigan leading the charge! College students from both the United States and Canada are eligible to participate in this epic clash of the colleges, and with the winner’s remaining college tuition being paid off, you can expect to see some fierce competition!

It will be even easier for esports fans to follow Heroes of the Dorm week in and week out in 2017, with the entirety of the tournament being streamed exclusively on Facebook! That means you’ll be able to follow your favorite team from the regular season all the way to the Heroic Four, with constant action being delivered right to your Facebook feed. The Good Stuff (What You Win, How to Sign Up)

After the Heroic Four concludes, one team will walk away with up to $75,000 per player in college tuition. The breakdown is as follows:

  • First-Year Undergraduate Students: Up to $25,000 per year for three years
  • Second-year Undergraduate Students: Up to $25,000 per year for two years
  • Third-year or later Undergraduate Students: Up to $25,000 to cover one year of tuition or student loans
  • First-year Graduate Students: Up to $25,000 per year for two years
  • Second-year or later Graduate Students: Up to $25,000 to cover one year of tuition or student loans
  • In addition, one substitute player per team will win up to $25,000 for one year

Watching Live on Facebook and in person

For Heroes of the Dorm this year, we’re looking to connect you to players and fans more than ever before, with the entire duration of the tournament being broadcast on Facebook. Putting Heroes of the Dorm in front of an audience of 1.8 billion Facebook users allows Dorm to connect in a way esports hasn’t before, delivering exciting matches and additional coverage straight to your Facebook feed. In addition to the entirety of the tournament being streamed on Facebook, the Heroic Four and Grand Finals will also be taking place in front of a live audience!

Everyone Can Play, Anyone Can Win

While Heroes of the Dorm competition is reserved for some of the most elite Heroes of the Storm college teams in North America, savvy fans will be able to flex their expertise in the Heroes of the Dorm Bracket Challenge and the Heroes of the Dorm Pick ‘em Challenge.  Accurately picking the winners of each matchup, beginning with the Round of 64, will win some exclusive prizes for the top 500 entries in the Bracket Challenge, while the grand prize winner will receive $10,000. Midway through the tournament, fans get a second chance in the Pick ‘em Challenge, where they’ll pick just one team to hopefully carry them all the way to the National Championship.
