Darkmoon Prizes

We’re introducing a new limited-time mechanic—Darkmoon Prizes! Every four turns you’ll Discover a Darkmoon Prize and add it to your hand. As the game progresses, you’ll be offered increasingly powerful Darkmoon Prizes to play with. From immediately impactful buffs to game-lasting effects, Darkmoon Prizes add a new twist to every Battlegrounds match!

All Darkmoon Prizes cost 0 mana. The you’ll Discover from on Prize Turn 1 are • Big Banana – Give a minion +2/+2. • Pocket Change - Add 2 Gold Coins to your hand. • Gacha Gift - Discover a minion from Tavern Tier 1. • The Good Stuff - Give minions in Bob's Shop +1 Health for the rest of the game. • Rocking and Rolling - Your next 3 Refreshes cost (0). • New Recruit - Add a minion to Bob's Tavern for the rest of the game. • Might of Stormwind - Give your minions +1/+1. Prizes you’ll Discover from on Prize Turn 2 are • On the House - Discover a minion from your current Tavern Tier. • Gruul Rules - Give a minion "At the end of your turn, gain +2/+2." • Evolving Tavern - Replace all minions in Bob's Tavern with ones of a higher Tavern Tier. • Great Deal - For the rest of the game, reduce the cost of upgrading Bob's Tavern by (2) at the end of your turn. • Time Thief - Discover a minion from your last opponent's warband. • Brann's Blessing - Your Battlecries trigger twice this turn. • The Unlimited Coin - Gain 1 Gold this turn only. Return this to your hand at end of turn. • The Bouncer - Give a minion +5/+5 and Taunt. Prizes you’ll Discover from on Prize Turn 3 are • Buy the Holy Light - Give a minion Divine Shield. • Ice Block - Secret: When your hero takes fatal damage, prevent it and become Immune this turn. • I'm Still Just a Rat in a Cage - Double a minion's Attack. • B.A.N.A.N.A.S. - Fill your hand with Bananas! (Mix of Bananas and Big Bananas, 1 in 3 chance right now) • Training Session - Discover a new Hero Power. • Repeat Customer - Return a friendly non-golden minion to your hand. Give it +2/+2. • All That Glitters - Make a random minion in Bob's Tavern Golden. • Top Shelf - Discover a minion from Tavern Tier 6. Prizes you’ll Discover from on Prize Turn 4 are • Friends and Family Discount - For the rest of the game, minions in Bob's Tavern costs (1) less. • Open Bar - Your first 5 Refreshes each turn cost (0). • Raise the Stakes - Make a friendly minion Golden and return it to your hand. • Fresh Tab - Refresh your Gold. • Argent Braggart - Battlecry: Gain Attack and Health to match the highest in the battlefield. • Big Winner - Discover a Darkmoon Prize from each of the previous turns. • Give A Dog A Bone - Give a friendly minion +10/+10, Divine Shield, and Windfury.

Winter Veil Quests

Winter Veil is underway! Get into the holiday spirit by completing a Legendary Quest chain that rewards a total of 4 Madness at the Darkmoon Faire card packs! These two quests will appear one at a time on your Quests Log and will not override any of your other quests.

Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl

The Great Father is dropping crates on the battlefield! Get a gift each time you smash your opponent’s crate or your own! Completing the Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl will reward the Winter Veil Treat card back! If you’ve already collected the card back, you’ll earn 1 Classic card pack instead.

Wacky Waxy Winter Veil Tavern Brawl

Greatfather Kobold got a little carried away with the presents. He’s wrapped up the strongest creatures and Heroes in Azeroth! Free them! Completing the Wacky Waxy Winter Veil Tavern Brawl will reward 1 Classic card pack.

Winter Veil Wreath Card Back Returns

The Winter Veil Wreath card back is returning to the in-game shop! You can purchase this festive card back for 500 Gold of $2.99 at any point between December 15-29.
