The Blizzard Museum - Hearthstone 5-year Anniversary Update

The Blizzard Museum is located in the heart of our Irvine campus Since we moved to this campus in 2007, the museum has been a great place to show the history of our games to visitors, friends, and family.

For details on the latest exhibit, we spoke again to Dana Bishop, the museum curator:

Our newest [museum] exhibit celebrates Hearthstone’s 5th anniversary. Since the game’s initial launch in 2014, the team has released fifteen expansions and Adventures. Through this exhibit, we’re taking a journey back in time to explore how each release made its mark.

Art is always at the center of Hearthstone, and this exhibit is bursting at the seams with colorful and fun pieces. Deciding which art not to include was the most difficult part of building it. You’ll find fun developer commentary peppered throughout the exhibit, and insight into how the team made each release look and feel so unique. We’ll also look back at some of the earliest development material created while the game was still taking form.

We’re also featuring fun artifacts from Fireside Gatherings, esports, fan art, and several of our favorite promotional artifacts.
