Back in November 2011, we announced the first ever Blizzard Student Art Contest. In partnership with the University Relations team, the World of Warcraft art team challenged students to submit a “3D modeled and textured set piece, fit for use in World of Warcraft.” With the contest now in its 7th year, we checked in with the WoW art team and some winners from previous years to discover how it all began, learn what’s new for this year, and pass along any tips and advice they have to offer art students looking to enter. Deadline to submit is January 28—time to get cracking!
