Embrace A New Vision of Hell with Diablo Immortal x Spawn
Step into a new hellish conflict with rewards inspired by Spawn, the Image Comics anti-hero created by Todd McFarlane. From Hellspawn-themed cosmetics and weapons to a transformative familiar modeled after Spawn's living necroplasmic powers, this event embodies the dark legacy of Al Simmons and his eternal battle against the forces of Heaven, Hell, and humanity itself.
As with previous content updates, there will be server maintenance starting on September 28, 2026 from 5 p.m. —7 p.m. PDT for Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers, and on September 29, from 1 a.m. —3 a.m. PDT for servers in the Americas. After the maintenance has concluded, all items mentioned below will be live.

Hellborne Horrors is filled with events such as Hellspawns Vengeance (Reward Track), Hellspawns Bane (Survivors Bane), The Eighth Circle (Helliquary Boss), and Hellspawns Guise (Phantom Market). Earn limited-time rewards starting September 29, 2026, 3:00 a.m. PDT and ending November 1, 2:59 a.m. PDT.

Tread the Path of Hellspawn's Vengeance

Complete Hellspawns Vengeance tasks to earn rewards including:

Log in and progress through Hellspawns Vengeance to earn free Spawn-inspired weapons for your favorite class. Wield Spawn-inspired weapons and bring the intimidating presence of Hellspawn into Sanctuary.
Survive Hellspawn's Bane
Can you survive in Spawn’s world with this themed return of Survivor’s Bane? Defend against endless waves of demons in Hellspawn's Bane while picking up orbs to collect new skills. For this special collaboration, we’ve added 6 new skills that resemble Spawn's iconic powers:
- Hell Chains – Chains whip in a cone area in front of the player, damaging any enemies they hit
- K7-Leetha Cloak – A regenerating Cloak activates that continuously damages enemies in a circular area around the player
- Necroplasm – 3 fireballs are launched rapidly in the direction the player is facing, dealing damage to the first enemy they hit
- Hell Fire – opens a Hell Rift in front of the player that lasts for a short duration, damaging any enemies within the area
- Spiritual Manipulation – Charges up in front of the player before rooting and dealing damage to enemies in the area
- Agony – The player hurls a spinning axe that pierces enemies
A new timer has been added to this special edition of Survivors Bane. When the timer runs out, you will be teleported to "Hell" where you will face Heap, a powerful creature who opposes Heaven and Hell in the Spawn universe. Upon defeating Heap, you will be returned to their original location, and a special combat orb will drop that gives you a buff for a limited time.
Confront The Demon Lord Malebolgia
A creation from the Eighth Circle of Hell, Malebolgia is one of the most powerful rulers of Hell in the Spawn universe, the demon lord who creates and commands Hellspawn warriors to wage war. He is the demon responsible for creating the hero of Spawn, intending to use him as a pawn in Hell's eternal conflict. Cunning, cruel, and immensely powerful, Malebolgia embodies corruption and domination, seeking to expand his influence by exploiting the souls of the damned and turning humanity's greatest champions into servants of Hell.
Taking down this immense evil from another world won’t be easy, so bring your most stalwart comrades for this fight. Malebogia wields both brawn and sorcery, so watch out for large-scale attacks and Hellspawns summoned to fight.
- Each week, we will have time goals for how fast you can vanquish this boss.
- Each rank has better rewards and points to get the most out of this event.
- The cosmetic reward should be awarded when a player achieves MVP status four times cumulatively in team boss battles with at least three players.

Necroplasmic Totem Legendary Gem
Diablo Immortal’s latest 2-Star Legendary Gem pays homage to Spawn’s Necroplasm-based abilities. Capture a portion of this power as your own.
Necroplasmic Totem
Dealing damage causes Necroplasm to surround you, increasing your damage done for 6 seconds and every few seconds the Necroplasm attempts to consume one periodic harmful effect from you. If the Necroplasm successfully consumes a periodic harmful effect or you kill an enemy it will unleash a Necroplasmic Bolt at a nearby enemy that explodes on contact, Burning all nearby enemies for several seconds. Cannot gain Necroplasm more often than once every 20 seconds and cannot unleash a Necroplasmic Bolt more often than once every few seconds.

Monster Combat Ratings Adjustments
To provide a smoother progression experience following the addition of new Server Paragon Levels, the Combat Ratings of monsters in Inferno XIV–XV have been reduced as follows.
Inferno XIV
- Open World Monsters and Dungeons: 61100 - 59900
- Challenge Dungeons: 61820 - 60620
Inferno XV
- Open World Monsters and Dungeons: 64000 - 62500
- Challenge Dungeons: 64720 - 63220
We also adjusted the Combat Ratings of Helliquary Bosses 1-5 and Helliquary Gauntlet in Inferno XIII, XIV, and XV accordingly.
Elder Rift Gem Pool Update
Blood Floe Drop Pool
- A new Legendary Gem drop pool will be available for selection in Elder Rifts. When selecting a Legendary Gem drop pool with a maximum drop rarity of 5 Stars, there is a 50% chance to receive the Legendary Gem Blood Floe.

Versatile Sockets for Rings
All newly acquired rings will always roll with Versatile Sockets.
Before:
- Only certain set ring configurations (3+2 and above) contained Versatile Sockets.
After:
- All newly obtained green set rings will contain Versatile Sockets.
Blacksmith Salvaging Update
To help prevent accidental actions when Salvaging equipment at the Blacksmith, Magic and Rare equipment of Inferno XIII or higher that has gems socketed or has been upgraded will no longer be selected by default. A secondary confirmation prompt will also be added when salvaging selected equipment.
Helliquary Gauntlet
A new way to showcase your team’s accomplishments is coming to Diablo Immortal with the Helliquary Gauntlet First Clear Leaderboard.
This new leaderboard will celebrate the teams that achieve the first clear of each Gauntlet challenge, giving top players a way to permanently showcase their accomplishments. The leaderboard will also display every member of the team, ensuring everyone who contributed to the victory gets the recognition they deserve.
Gather your strongest allies, take on the Gauntlet, and make your mark among the first teams to conquer each challenge!
Bug Fixes
- Fixed two issues where the Warlock Legendary Essence Crash and Burn when combined with Scarred Memories:
- Combination could fail to deal damage under certain circumstances.
- Combination could cause Burning Ascent to trigger additional damage unexpectedly.
- Fixed an issue where the target acquisition range of the Druid Legendary Essence Eternal Cycle did not match its attack range.
- Fixed an issue where the Electrified effect from Tempest could be triggered by players other than the caster. Now, only the Tempest who cast the Tide Pool can trigger the Electrified effect.
- Fixed an issue where the Tempest Riptide skill could cause the character to become stuck and unable to move.
- Fixed an issue where fishing could not be performed properly at certain fishing spots.
- Fixed an issue where characters could become stuck inside the tents in Westmarch.
