Adventurers can press deeper into Zerg‑infested territory through Infested Rifts, while the newly revealed Dark Ascension dungeon tears open reality itself and challenges players to survive deadly psionic onslaughts. Aeon of Stars
Simply log in during the Aeron of Stars event will instantly grant three rewards:
- A Starcraft Inspired Avatar Frame
- The Baneboil 2-Star Legendary Gem
- 1x Weapon Transmog inspired by Kerrigan, Queen of Blades
Koprulu Arsenal
By engaging in daily activities, defeating monsters, or challenging limited time dungeons, players earn points in the to advance progress.
Upon reaching milestones, you’ll unlock a wide array of rewards, including:
- Starcraft Inspired Portal
- Starcraft Inspired Stickers
- Weapons Transmogs inspired by Kerrigan
- Legendary Gear with selectable affixes
- Set Items with selectable affixes
Aeon of the Stars features four weeks of reward cycles, with additional milestone rewards granting Bound Empowered Immortal Keys and Immortal Keys.
Face the Tal’Darim in Dark Ascension
The Protoss make their presence known in Diablo Immortal! During the Aeon of Stars event, players can face off two of the RTS genre’s iconic units in a special limited-time Boss Fight!
Manifesting through iconic Tal'darim Templar and the terrifying Ascended Archon, these enemies wield forbidden psionic power and relentless precision that StarCraft veterans will immediately recognize.
Join with up to four adventurers to clash directly with legendary RTS units reimagined for action RPG combat. The fight features distinctive mechanics, event‑specific objectives, and exclusive rewards.
Entry requires challenge tickets, with special tasks awaiting those who dare stand against the Tal’Darim’s shadowed might.
Delve into Infested Rifts
Dungeon mutation out of control; the Swarm threat rises! During the Aeon of Stars event, players may find a unique Elder Rift Affix that will swarm your rift with Zerg enemies and a unique boss: The Feral Hydralisk.
Players will also be granted the special ability of a Psionic Storm while in the rift. This special ability will place a field on the ground at random that will deal damage to enemies within.
Players can collect exclusive legendary weapons by completing the special Elder Rift. These items will have special affixes that cannot be transferred. If the item is destroyed, you will not be able to obtain the essence.
Battle for Beyond in a Special Conqueror Mode
The Swarm surges forward. War ignites. Mutation is inevitable. During the Aeon of the Stars event, players can participate in a special version of Conqueror.
In this mode, players will find special faction themed shrines across the map. Activating these shrines grants powerful combat orbs, each tied to a specific StarCraft faction:
- Stim Pack (Terran): Increases Attack Speed and Movement Speed by 30% for 8 seconds
- Poison (Zerg): For a limited time, all attacks fire poison projectiles that apply a damage over time effect.
- Shields (Protoss): Grants a protective shield that lasts for a limited duration or until it absorbs a set amount of damage.
Only orbs matching the faction you selected before the match will drop during gameplay.
Conqueror will also feature weekly faction based leaderboards, with players choosing their faction prior to each match and competing for ranking within that faction.
In addition, a permanent optimization will be introduced alongside this update. All players will have access to all eight gear slots. Players who have not yet unlocked the final two slots will have default gear automatically equipped in those slots (final item details to be announced).
Legendary Gem: Baneboil
A gem that seals Zerg ferocity within. Eerie green corrosive light slowly flows through its core, as if the Swarm’s will churns inside ready to tear prey apart and consume the battlefield.
Equip the new Legendary Gem Baneboil to grant yourself command of the Swarm. Dealing damage conjures Banelings that swarm nearby enemies and explode on contact, covering them in a corrosive acid that inflicts damage over time and also causes them to take increased damage from you.
Unleash the Swarm upon your prey, and witness your foes crumble in a storm of explosions and decay.
During the event, participating in the Dark Ascension dungeon grants a chance to acquire this crossover Legendary Gem (maximum of one).
Become the Swarm Monarch
The Queen of Blades rises once more, her presence echoing across the field as the Swarm asserts its dominion.
Don this Phantom Market and step into the shoes of Kerrigan, reborn through fire and fury. Command the Swarm with unyielding resolve, strike with blade‑sharp precision, and face your enemies with the absolute authority of a queen who bows to none.

Immortal
The Protoss answer the call of war. Immortal advances as a symbol of unwavering resolve, its presence radiating disciplined power forged through centuries of sacrifice. Each measured step carries the will of a civilization that refuses to yield.
Among the Protoss, death is not the end for their greatest champions. Heroes who fall are preserved within massive warframes, their purpose unchanged. Encased in near‑indestructible armor and fueled by ancient conviction, Immortal stands as proof that Protoss warriors do not fade. They endure.
Zergling
The Swarm sends a harbinger of violence into Sanctuary. Zergling enters the fray with unrestrained ferocity, its movements driven by instinct, speed, and an endless hunger to kill. Every strike signals the Swarm’s intent to overwhelm and consume without pause.
When Zergling fights at your side, it allows portable skills to be used without cooldown. Combat becomes relentless and unbroken, echoing the Zerg’s defining doctrine of constant pressure and unyielding aggression.
