Showdown in the Badlands is NOW LIVE!

Blizzard Entertainment

Saddle up, partner! Showdown in the Badlands is now here, with 145 new collectible cards, legendary outlaws, new Quickdraw and Excavate keywords, and more!

What’s Included: Legendary Outlaws and Terrible Townsfolk

The Bloodrock Mining Company is polluting the Badlands and awakening slumbering Elementals, putting everyone at risk! Enter the outlaws: these renegades are fighting to keep the peace. Demon Hunter, Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Priest, and Shaman each have a Legendary outlaw minion that has a powerful effect if your deck has no duplicates in it. To top it all off, Reno, Lone Ranger joins the outlaws as Hearthstone’s first Neutral Hero card!

What’s Included: New Keyword—Excavate

Cards with the Excavate keyword add Excavated Treasures to your hand! Talk about paydirt. The first time you Excavate, you get a random 1-cost Common Treasure, the second time you Excavate you get a random 2-cost Rare Treasure, and the third time you get a random 3-cost Epic Treasure. Once you’ve tapped out your mine, you can start the cycle over again from the beginning.

Death Knight, Mage, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior have teamed up with the Bloodrock Mining Company. These expert mining classes are also able to Excavate a fourth level of Treasures deep in the mine—a class-specific powerful Legendary!

All Excavate Treasures have rarities, but are non-collectible and can only be gotten by Excavating.

What’s Included: New Keyword—Quickdraw

In the Badlands, being fast on the draw can be the difference between life and death. Cards with the Quickdraw mechanic have a special bonus the turn they come into your hand. For best results, fire them off as soon as you... DRAW!
