Shadow the Fox Charity Pet and Plush

The results are in! Your adoptions of the Shadow the fox in-game pet and the Shadow Plush helped raise more than $1.8 million in support of American Red Cross Disaster Relief and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Society’s (IFRC) Disaster Relief Emergency Fund.

Through the overwhelming generosity of the World of Warcraft community, you have donated over $15 million dollars to charitable causes over the years. We thank you and are humbled by your generosity.

The Not So Elementary Art of Solving Riddles

Designing secrets that aren’t readily solved isn’t easy, particularly when you know thousands of players from around the world will join forces to unravel them. The Secret Finding Discord Community has convened some of the most dedicated puzzle solvers to crack a variety of in-game puzzles—each resulting in a new addition to their mount or pet collection.

• Riddler’s Mind-Worm Mount: In April 2017, players joined together to solve the riddle of the Mind-Seekers and lay claim to the Riddler’s Mind-Worm mount. Read our Inside Look blog post to learn more and get started on your own journey to claim this mind-bending mount.
• Sun Darter Hatchling Battle Pet: Putting their minds together, the Secret Finding Discord community discovered how to acquire the Sun Darter Hatchling in early June of 2017. Getting to the egg deep within the Cavern of Consumption will take some preparation. If you’re up to the challenge, head over to Wowhead, where Nightswifty gives a full rundown.
• Lucid Nightmare Mount: Late in August 2017, players solved yet another puzzle to receive the Lucid Nightmare mount. This journey took them from Ulduar through the Endless Halls and finally into the Forgotten Crypts of Karazhan. • Uuna–Non-Combat Companion: There’s something special about Uuna. This non-combat companion is another discovery by the Secret Finding Discord community, but it’s going to take a bit of work to add this ghost child to your collection.
