Diablo Immortal

Cruel Appetites Stir with Infernal Hunger

Blizzard Entertainment

Since our last content update, players culled the unworthy in Survivor’s Bane, flaunted their martial prowess in Tower War, and earned new Legendary items. This content update introduces the Season 24 Battle Pass, teases our next major update, and brings various feature changes.

The generals of the Burning Hells have unleashed their most clever magic—the ability to alter time itself. Starting on March 6, the server time will be forward for North America by an hour during maintenance.

As with previous content updates, there will be server maintenance starting on March 5, from 4 p.m.–6 p.m. PST for Oceania, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers, and on March 6, from 12 a.m.–2 a.m. PST for servers in the Americas. After the maintenance has concluded, all items mentioned below will be live—specific dates for any content going live afterward are provided below.

Feature Updates

Helliquary Death Screen Changes

When you die while playing Helliquary raids, there’s currently no way to determine whether or not you could be resurrected by your allies. Now, when all players in a Helliquary Raid have died—and all Resurrection Stones have been exhausted—there will be a screen that notifies you that all raid members have been defeated and the only option is to exit the mode.

Character Customization Reset Reduced to One Day

We have changed the Character Customization reset from seven days to one day to help promote freedom for cosmetic versatility.

Developer’s Note: This change was made to help improve your quality of life when choosing to customize your Character. We hope you feel more freedom to try different looks!

Battlefield Class Matching Balance Changes

With our current matchmaking systems for Battlegrounds, in rare cases it would cause a large imbalance between the Melee and Ranged classes between the two teams. We adjusted our team matchmaking system to ensure classes are more evenly distributed between the two styles of ranged and melee.

Gem Splitting

This is a new feature we’re adding that allows you to take a normal gem (Citrine, Ruby, Sapphire, Tourmaline, Topaz, Aquamarine) and break it down into multiple gems of the same type that are of lower-rank. Splitting a gem will also grant you Echo Crystals, increasing with the rank of the gem that was split.

Developer’s Note: The introduction of Bracelets meant the addition of more potential gem slots. Gem splitting allows you to now use higher-ranked gems to generate multiple lower-rank gems to fill out this new slot.

Note that only three Gem splits are allowed per week, and that Rank 1 gems cannot be split. Gems that are granted from Gem splitting also cannot be traded.

Visit Vic, the Master Jeweler in Westmarch, to split your gems!

Improved Search Functionality for Clans and Warbands

We have made improvements to the search and recommendation functionality for Clans and Warbands. You’ll now be shown recommended Clans and Warbands based on improved metrics, including current member progression, the type of content players from that clan typically engage with, and mutual friends in common.

Familiar Inventory Changes

If your capacity for Familiars in your inventory is full, they will now be sent via in-game mail. They will patiently wait to be claimed until you can find them a forever home in your inventory.
