Lilith’s Disciples Unleash Hatred in Diablo Immortal

Blizzard Entertainment

Sanctuary’s adoration for their Blessed Mother, Lilith, has quickly grown in intensity. On June 8, Lilith’s favor will rain down on her children, unleashing a new diabolical event, Legendary Gem, Battle Pass, and Phantom Market.

Our fourth major update, Destruction’s Wake, is currently being forged by the fires of the Burning Hells. On June 13, we’ll divulge all its offerings in a new blog, but for the time being, read on to see what fiendish activities your mother has in store.

New Legendary Gem: Mother’s Lament

Lilith’s influence is widespread. Her devotees will go to any length to worship their matriarch, even tainting trinkets in her honor. In celebration of Diablo IV’s release on June 6, we are introducing a new Legendary Gem on June 8. The below values for this gem reflect its power at Rank 10:

Mother's Lament (Two-Star Gem): When you deal damage, you have a 20% chance of gaining Maternal Disdain, increasing your Critical Hit Chance by 32% for 6 seconds. Cannot occur more often than once every 20 seconds. When Maternal Disdain ends, you release a blood spike toward nearby enemies dealing 54% base damage to any enemies it hits and also cause them to Bleed.

Merciless Monstrosity Limited-Time Event

Ashava, a whirlwind of pestilence, has recently emerged in Sanctuary. This gargantuan plague bearer wreaks havoc with her two massive forearm blades and ability to coat the ground in a viscous poison. If you are at least Level 30, have the guts to face Ashava, and come out on top, you’ll earn 10 Mark of Pestilence, 1 Telluric Pearl, 50 Scrap Materials, and 3 Enchanted Dust for your first kill. Three additional Marks of Pestilence can be earned from completing Elder Rifts, up to twice per day, and Ashava can be killed once a day for 10 Marks.

One Mark of Pestilence can be traded for a random reward, which could be: 1,000 Gold, 5 Scrap Materials, 3 Enchanted Dust, a Glowing Shard, or a One-Star Legendary Gem. Rack up 88 Marks of Pestilence and you can trade them for a random Legendary Item; this exchange can only be performed once.

Call upon members of your server to slay Ashava and trade in their Marks of Pestilence to earn rewards for everyone:

  • Trade in 888,888 Marks: 20 Aspirant’s Keys
  • Trade in 1,888,888 Marks: 38,888 Gold
  • Trade in 2,888,888 Marks: 3 Rare Crests
  • Trade in 4,888,888 Marks: Grim Mercy Portrait Frame
  • Trade in 6,888,888 Marks: Mother’s Lament Two-Star Legendary Gem

Ashava can be fought through the Merciless Monstrosity event menu or randomly encountered in Elder Rifts from June 8, 3 a.m.–June 22, 3 a.m. server time.

Hatred’s Heritage Phantom Market

A new Phantom Market offering a Cosmetic Set born from hatred-incarnate Lilith starts on June 8, at 3 a.m. server time. Using Obols, players will purchase the ability to draw one item at random from the available item pool. There are 10 items total, and each can only be acquired once. Each time you draw an item, the cost of the next draw will increase. Performing 10 draws guarantees that you will receive all items available in the Phantom Market, including the Hatred’s Heritage Cosmetic Set, which can be used with all of Diablo Immortal’s Classes. This cosmetic set also boasts a tailored visual effect when you rack up a killstreak against Hell’s minions.

Obols can be purchased with Eternal Orbs, and any unspent Obols will be converted into Platinum once the Phantom Market event ends on July 6, at 2:59 a.m. server time. All players will receive enough Obols for a free first draw—these are automatically added to your account.

Because items from the Phantom Market are acquired randomly per draw, we want to provide players with the initial draw rates for each item to aid in deciding if they would like to engage with the event past their first free draw.

Note: the drop rates provided below are for the first draw only and will adjust to reflect the relative probabilities of the remaining items in the Phantom Market item pool.

  • Ravenous Emoji: 60.00%
  • Amber Blades Lapis Weapon Cosmetic: 15.63%
  • Amber Blades Burgundy Weapon Cosmetic: 15.63%
